I began my journey into yoga as a way to break free from the limiting belief that I was only as good as my achievements. Through the practice and philosophy of yoga, I discovered the power of challenging myself both mentally and physically, without being attached to any specific end goal. Over the past 10 years, I’ve been dedicated to teaching yoga and leading 200-hour Yoga Alliance recognized teacher training courses throughout Los Angeles.
As someone who is hypermobile, I realized early on that a foundation of strength was essential for a safer practice. This understanding eventually led me to the gym, where I developed a love for powerlifting. The balance of strength and mobility is a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy, both in my own life and in the classes I lead. I’m passionate about helping my students and clients learn more about their unique physical anatomy, empowering them to build autonomy and confidence in their fitness journey.
With a 300-Hour Yoga Alliance E-RYT certification, 10 years of teaching and over five years of experience as a personal trainer, I believe that true fitness starts with the mind. Both the gym and the yoga studio are sacred spaces where we can challenge our inner dialogue and cultivate healthier habits, mentally and physically. where everyone feels comfortable and motivated to reach their goals.
